Alton towers- Enchanted Forest πŸ‘

So last weekend we went away Friday-Saturday for my daughters 2nd Birthday to the enchanted forest part of Alton towers πŸ‘πŸš™πŸ‘§πŸΌ2️⃣

So I thought I’d do a little review and give some tips if anyone was thinking of going.

Firstly we booked Friday-Saturday as it was still classed as a ‘weekday offer’ so we managed to get an over night stay in the cutest little lodge, breakfast and entry to the waterpark for Β£119 which we didn’t think was too bad! Specially as weekend prices were coming up as over Β£400 when we first looked.

We had a fantastic time, we were really pleased with the little lodge there only small but really quirky and great for kids! 2 bedrooms, a double bed and bunk beds in the other. Ella slept in with me though πŸ™ŠπŸ™ˆ naughty mummy!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Spent our first day in the theme park going to CBeebies land, I’ll be honest we went overly impressed by the theme park itself it was looking pretty run down in parts and many rides were ‘under maintenance’ I’d always recommend getting 241 tickets like we did, as other wise it’s almost Β£52 a ticket!

We decided to eat out for dinner outside of the theme park itself, it seemed very expensive for food at the various restaurants around the resort so we decided to explore in the closest village. We found a lovely little pub 5 mins drive away, the Royal Oak where we had some lovely fresh, quality home cooked food πŸ™‚
All in all we had a fantastic trip and I would recommend this to any families with young children πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸš™

Here a just a few photos of where we stayed and our food πŸ‘πŸΌ
